You can revoke consent already given at any time with effect for the future directly via our cookie consent banner or by e-mail to us. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For safety reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. By activating this encryption, data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

2. Consent Technology with Complianz

Our website uses the cookie consent technology of Complianz to obtain your consent to store certain cookies in your browser or to use certain technologies (such as YouTube) and to document this in compliance with data protection regulations.

When you enter our website, a connection is established to Complianz’s local scripts. Complianz stores a technically necessary cookie in your browser in order to save the consents you have given or their revocation. This data is not passed on to the manufacturer service of Complianz, but remains locally on our server.

The data is stored until you request us to erase it, delete the Complianz cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. The legal basis for this is Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG (technically necessary storage to fulfill a legal obligation) and Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your details, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

In the event of a successful application, the data will be further processed within the scope of the employment relationship. In the event of a rejection, the data will be stored for a maximum period of 6 months after completion of the specific application process (to defend against claims under the General Equal Treatment Act – AGG) and will subsequently be deleted in compliance with data protection laws.

5. Embedded Services and Cloud Tools

YouTube with Consent (via Complianz Cookie Banner)

We embed videos from the “YouTube” platform of the provider Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) on our website.

To protect your privacy, YouTube is blocked by default via our consent tool Complianz. Data will only be transmitted to Google if you actively allow the videos to be played (consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Google may also process the data in the USA. Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Google Workspace / Google Cloud

For our internal office organization, e-mail communication, and file management, we use Google Workspace and services of the Google Cloud (Google Ireland Limited). When exchanging e-mails or documents with us, data is processed on Google’s servers. We have concluded corresponding data protection agreements with Google, including EU standard contractual clauses.

Google Fonts (Local Hosting)

This website uses so-called Google Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. In order to protect your privacy optimally, these fonts are installed locally on our own servers (or those of our hoster IONOS). When you call up our website, no connection to Google servers takes place and no data (such as your IP address) is transmitted to external Google servers.

6. Social Media Links (No Plugins)

Icons/links to the social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube are integrated on our website.

These are pure links, not so-called social plugins. As long as you visit our website and do not actively click on the icons, no data is transmitted to these platforms. Only when you click on an icon will you be redirected to the page of the respective provider. From this point on, the privacy policy of the respective platform operator applies.

7. Important Note regarding Our Products and Games

As a development studio, we design and create games as well as interactive applications primarily within the scope of contract work for external customers and publishers.

If you play a game developed by us on behalf of a customer, use a login there, or if data is processed within these applications, KORION Interactive GmbH is not the responsible party within the meaning of data protection law. In these cases, the respective publisher or client of the game is responsible. If you have any questions about these specific products, please consult the privacy policy of the respective game publisher.
